Brierley & Tansey can play scrum half too, that's 2 players that can play in all 3 positions. Good for injury cover and changing the team up depending on the opposition.

I think we could replace Paul Jackson & Ryan Hudson with two forwards from the U20s (Fleming & Martin) and use Danny Orr as back up to Clark / Milner at 9.

Guess we have to give Tansey a chance, but with so much previous at other clubs i think we will get our fingers burnt on this signing.

At least he is only on a 1 year contract. He will have to impress because this will be his last chance at Super League. He will have to play well to earn a longer contract at Cas or to put himself in the shop window. If he doesn't, he will be out on his ear at the the end of the season.

I think if he knuckles down, he could do ok for us.

It was Dewsbury he played for, not Batley.

He was in two title-winning Leeds squads (even if he didn't play in the grand final).

And he played 7 successive games under Brad Fittler at the Roosters in 2009 so must have some talent !

He's 25 and must realise its now or never so how about giving the kid a chance ?
