The date he's registered isn't necessarily the day the signing is announced. They wouldn't sign him now if he couldn't play. They'd wait till the end of the season.

Why sign/register someone before deadline, then keep it quiet and annouce it later.Sounds bent to me.Good job Jim White and his crew don't cover the rugby deadline.

Beau jangles, you are not bringing in a question of unfair play by the RFL?
People may think the system is there to protect the few not look after the many.
My Humble Opinion Only - let the knockers begin.

One would have to be very naïve to think it takes a week to announce a bona fide deal. Make of it what you will.

The fax in asia, that Leeds performance was more notable as to how easy it was for Daryl Clark to cause so much mayhem. He's good, but made to look even better by Leeds being very lazy in defence, they weren't bending their backs (pointed out by the pundits). If they think the Championship clubs are easy pickings and they carry that same defensive attitude through to the qualifiers, they're in for a nasty surprise.

There's been some brutal matches in our league of late, that Toulouse match was intense. So I think we're ready for the challenge. Looking forward to see how London will do at Widnes this Thursday. Come on London, give it to them!

Happens all the time.

Typically so that you can announce it on a slow news day so that your signing is the top story.

The alternative is that the RFL are favouring certain clubs by allowing them to break the rules.

Believe what you like. Makes no difference to me. :BEAT:

Can't believe the game is not being televised, hard to believe really. However the window on the Halifax page (to the right) says it is on TV (Premier)...have they changed their minds on this or is there a typo. I know there has been quite a bit of pressure from over here to have it televised...anybody know whats up?

Not heard anything. I can't see Sky being flexible to be honest. You can always attend in person Canoeman. Though not sure on Chorley-Manchester-Halifax rail connections on a Sunday. And I'm assuming the Canadian streams just pay for Premiers camera work in England, so I'm assuming no TV coverage.

Havent all the TWP games been shown on TV this season on Freesport or what ever the channel is. May be its that? I heard Simon Grix on Radio Leeds this morning talking breifly about the qualifiers and the game on Sunday. We seen to be getting a nice bit of coverage this week. lets hope we get a win on Sunday and generate more interest in Fax.
