Couple of us on here mentioned him after his performance against us at Shay 2/3 months back.Maybe he was never an option but hope we didn't dither and miss the boat now he's just signed for the pie-eaters.

He certainly impressed me whenever i have seen him play. Would definitely have given the threequarters some ummph. I doubt many clubs could have competed with the Piemen to grab his signature.

Not sure you've missed the boat. His contract would almost certainly have had a QLT Gangnam Style escape clause.

Another that we released from Leigh, in favour of some pretty ordinary overseas' players! :(

Watching hudds last night and wondered if Jake Mamo might be available in view of the fact he isn't in the team and they are playing very well. He can cover a number of positions and always looked the part to me. Skilful , a turn of pace , brave and a good defence.

The one I can't believe you let go is Joe Bullock. Could be the next Walmsley/Chris Hill that fella.

Did the club win the lottery?

Yes, there's another one. We converted him (as we tend to do!) from a winger, into a prop! Then we sent him to Barrow, on loan, to give him experience, and he ended up liking it so much, he stayed there!

Whilst we can't lay claim to having 'discovered' Josh Drinkwater, I notice that he is ripping it up at Catalans, and appears to have transformed their fortunes, after a pretty average season at Leigh.
