Its all false economy, as per usual we get to the end of the season and we are pretty much using our own squad barring a lad who has been with us all season compared to Fev who are usually scrapping around for players due to running with a small squad. One way we can look at it is, if DR were to be banished(like 99% of fans probably want) then we would be in a stronger position than Fev as we keep producing first team players through our production line where as Fev would have to spend less on the core of their squad so they could carry a few extra bodies. Obviously thats a pipe dream but hopefully one that does happen in the near future for the good of our game. I do not blame Fev at all for what they do though and they play it within the rules, don't hate the player and all that.

As Faxcar says thats the way im hoping the game goes and Im praying for a blazing hot day and Fev's older squad struggling with the heat. Its a really hard game to call as if you had to pick a team out of both squads you probably end up with quite an even split of players and a team that could compete with Toronto. Im hoping our extra mobility and superior work ethic just edges it.

On Dual reg most of us agree. If it was banned fev would have a bigger squad. Campbell already talking about running a reserve team and though there will be an obvious cost implication its hoped this can be covered through sponsorship.
What i find ironic and most amusing is the constrant tripe espoused by some fans cos fev have used DR when their club use the same arrangements with their "host" club. There isn't a "shakes head" emoticon.

It’s likely true 99% would like DR removed.

What I find ironic is how 99.999% don’t give a dam when their team uses it and will reason it away talking tripe as long as their teams wins.

If we fancy second thats not a bad result for us. Very bad result for Leigh as it puts another team in the mix and gives a team an extra point that nobody was counting on.

I don’t think it makes much difference to Leigh TBH, given that even if Toulouse were to lose to Fax Leigh are unlikely to catch them, Toulouse still likely to be on 33 point. And with London’s points difference if Leigh and London had (do) finish on 32 league points London are likely to finish above Leigh.
For Fev London losing a point is as good as a defeat for London since if we end up on the same points again London’s points difference would give then the benefit. And as you say gives us an outside chance at second.
In fact the only team that really losses out with London getting a point is Fax, since if both clubs end up on the same league points it will again be London that gets the benefit in league positions.

Obviously all of that changes if Fax n Fev draw tomorrow.
