Could we just clarify if it was RotherhamFevFan or Fevgrinder. I am unsure as to which one it was as the camera angle and Muzza's belly celebration got in the way.
Cheers.

LTD,

A good well earned win for Fax on Saturday.

As for the fan on the pitch, you'd have known if it was me since Muzza's belly would not have hidden mine.

Hope to see you at the Shay later in the year for our next exciting instalment of Fax v Fev.

Great win in the end we had the game won, lost it then won it again phew!
Fortune favours the brave when we threw the ball around keeping it alive for the Johnno try what a great effort.
Sorry to hear about the attack on the 2 Fax fans after the game we stayed on to watch the Leigh v Toronto game so never saw any Fev fans luckily!

Re: Fax v Featherstone. : Tue May 29, 2018 1:05 am
Maybe a little off thread, however having watched both the Magic Weekend and the Summer Bash, seeing some of the decisions that have been made by the lino, ref and video ref, all I see is that they will not make any decisions that they usually would week in week out in normal circumstances.
Whilst these two events are for the media circus, it seems the officials have been told to be lenient with their whistle blowing on certain points.
Whilst Fax seemed to have the lions share of penalties in the first half, lots of things were 'let go' off side, flops , sly digs, back chat, etcetera, ( not only in the Fax game) in the hope that a few people who may have fallen over the televised games whilst channel hopping will see a game that is more akin to american football without the padding and take an interest.
Taking the Hock incident as just one example, h was put on report, for what could have been a serious incident, and would merit a red card, whilst Tyrer gets 10 minutes rest for a puny 'slap' in the words of the commentators.
A final note before you all have your say, Fax managed to grab victory from the jaws of victory, well done boys bodies on the line, playing for the shirt and each other.

I only saw the first half as I had to go to work but we should have done enough ther to have had the game sewn up, I always felt the penalty count would be evened up and so it was. Hock was lucky to be in the pitch for the 2nd half after the very late push on Muzza, usually a minimum yellow for any type of late shot. From what i’ve Read of the 2nd half we were on the back foot, usually why penalties are given, but stuck in there and even with 12 men managed the win.
Well done to the lads for showing some real grit and determination, hopefully we can now back up with a win at Batley, these are the banana skins we need to avoid losses in.

There is no excuse this time for the Featherstone club to sit on their hands and do nowt. There is clear video of that not so young idiot on the pitch having a go at the Fax players. Will they do owt about it? Over to you Featherstone.

HS,

Not that it will interest you but I know the "idot on the pitch" had already spoken to the Fev club on Sunday morning and owned up to the situation so no need to find him. He is also very remorseful about the whole instident. Though I suspect he'll not like me saying this, but I also believe he should recieve a ban from the club games for a period of time, probably not for life IMO, but that is for the club to decide. I also know that he will accept whatever the penalty is.

I'll share with you the reasons behind what happened the next time we meet, but hasten to add there is only one person to blame for his actions, himself, which he knows. I also have something really funny to share about it all when we see each other next.

Fair do's. The thing is these incidents happen far too often with Featherstone 'fans'. It's no good for the game and certainly no good for your club. You know the people I go to the games with and out of 10 season ticket holders 8 of them will not go to POR. That's bad for Fev and bad for Fax. I hear two Fax fans were jumped on by a group of Fev 'fans' in Blackpool which was no surprise to me at all, sadly. It is just not on. On a lighter note we'll see you in a few weeks, can't wait to hear your tale! Up The Fax!

I have read on here about 2 Fax fans being "jumped", "attacked", etc. and have tried to find some validity to the said quotes, but personally I have not been able to see any. I'm not saying it didn't happen by the way, just that I haven't seen any proof, and also to say this is not me being in denial since I am aware that we have a number of undesirables that go to big games. I'll discuss all of this with you when we meet up.

As for the other story you'll mickey your sen.
