Seriously, what is this "fantastic relationship" with Castleford? Even the most pro DR supporter wouldn't call it fantastic would they? I'll have some of what RM is on!

Appears we were after James Laithwaite Torronto second row who opted for Bradford....mustn't have much ambition...second row not a priority position to me..

Well we won't be signing Westerman who apparently doesn't fancy the travelling when Toronto finally start their Canadian home games.
First RM says he doesn't want another prop and second even if he did this weeks press says he's on a six figure sum.
£100,000 grand at least for just 1 player, I wonder what the others are on?

The other week when Toronto were playing Fev the commentators mentioned Rovers first team playing budget was around £600,000, I'm sure Robin will have an idea.

Wonder what Fax first team playing budget is, anyone know?

Kmore than happy to have not signed Laithwaite, no disrespect to the lad but he has never struck me as a rugby player, big lad with not much idea, never did much against us in the past. Probably found his level at the Bulls.
Westerman I would have liked but was always going to be too expensive for us.

New signing will hopefully be "centre" of attention.

Matt Shaw tweeted about the laithwaite signing but his wording seemed to edge towards us deciding not to pursue it rather than him opting for Bradford over us.

a weak position for us of late BUT it lets face it, Tyrer is never going to get dropped so it would just mean dropping butler who has arguably been one of our best performers.

I'd prefer a quality stand off (because i know, they grow on trees). keep moore on for the 80 or switch him with murrell when needed
