Can’t believe he’s only on a charge for the throw and that neither he nor the other offender is on a charge for the lake tackles on Murrell, the 2nd one seemed to be an attack to the kidneys. What made it worse, is in that play that the ref played on, straight after Tangy got taken around the head, ref played on once more, but third time lucky (if that’s the right word), Sio then got clobbered and the ref pulled them this time. And the hit on Grady was a shoulder charge to the chin where the defender made no attempt to tackle/use his arms. And ref wondered why our players were reacting and running in!

I always thought that penalties were taken from where the infringement took place.

Something changed...a lot of penalties are now taken from where the defence line is set

Which defence line? Where it should be or where the ref wants it? Depends who you are.

If you're offside at the ptb, the mark is where you should've been.

Not square mark goes back to defence line now but think this is relatively new ?

When we played over there, in the league game, there were two/three late, high challenges on Ben Reynolds, each after he had kicked the ball and was vulnerable. Yet the only suspension was Jamie Acton, for his (stupid and potentially dangerous) reaction to one of the challenges. (by Greg Bird) He got four months for that, and Reynolds picked up a broken nose (the challenge apparently wasn't high!!) Bird did get two matches, for a later punching offence.

Now, some of our lads are no angels, but I think we still have a way to go, to catch up with Catalans!

The Q 8 Games seem to be played under a different set/interpretation of the Rules especially when a Championship v Super Greed Match is played anyway congrats to the 2 Bens Kaye & Johnstone for 100th app for Fax

Hello Halifax fans.I thought the ref favoured you actually, that Johnson should have been sent off and that you were offside just as often as us. With regard to the rugby the first half was even but you, rather like us ,lacked the skill and pace to take your chances-certainly we would have been well behind a top 8 team by half time. Thereafter we ground you down and dominated possession ,and you looked very tired at the end.Although our first try was jammy we scored 3 good ones whereas you never really looked as if you would score We may well see you again next year . I enjoyed the pub and my first visit to Halifax for 18 years.

You deserved your win but what a set of dirty barstewards your team is, you were playing a team of part timers for goodness sake and it seemed to me it was win at any cost and luckily for you the Ref was weak.
For 35 minutes we were in the game although i agree we did not look like scoring sadly, I hope we don't cross paths again as I fear for the safety of our lads who will lose pay at work no thanks to you lot, you won't get away with that against the SL clubs you play!

See Kendall is at Swinton this week, pity he wasn't there last week.
