Quality NB.
On a serious note having watched their last game v Leigh they did drop a lot of ball and give a lot of penalties away. They do look a big side and on paper in Walsh and Myler they have two good halfbacks. However they don't look to be firing at the moment so who knows with good discipline/kicking game and usual tenacious defence we may sneak this one and get our first win?
Massive for them if they lose of course as they would be in the brown and smelly big style then.

Looking at the bigger picture I am really interested to see what the club is doing to generate interest in this game. Away support will be virtually zero, leaving our usual 1400/1600 to create some sort of atmosphere to motivate the team. York City Knights recently had a similar scenario for their game against Toronto and starting from a much lower regular base(400/600) than ours managed to attract a magnificent audience of 2602 to the game. Audience generation is absolutely key to us progressing on and off the field, I suspect the attendance will be in the 1300/1500 area for the Catalan game unless someone has a "plan" for the day. If this is so I seriously suggest the club speak to York CK to understand how they achieved their numbers and if it was FREE tickets how did they motivate people to use them.

On the crowd front, my youngest has said he wants to go down and it's usually impossible to get him interested these days so hopefully the lure of the Dragons will bring a few more.
