All subscribers have received an email from David Durbin Chair Supporters Trust.he is along that if you continue to pay your subscription to the Pro TV the money now go to the Trust to help run the reserve side.
I think this is a great idea. I will keep my subscription going. I won't miss the few quid and I know it is helping our reserve grade team and I haven't had to do anything yet I'm making a contribution to up and coming players!

ST prices were discussed at length. Free Junior Early Bird Season Tickets being a highlight

Main points I can recollect:
1. Several e-mail questions around next years spend going on strengthening the squad. Board response was there will be monies but there was a definite emphasis on managing people's expectations.
2. RM was specifically asked about half back recruitment for next season and responded that he had no plans as yet.
3, He was expecting to lose a couple of players but work was going on in the background already to sign replacements.
4. Salty is fit but Ben Heaton's performances are keeping him out at the moment.
5.Long debate over season ticket prices and options which was ultimately voted for by those present. (Club to announce in due course). All season ticket revenue to go RM for player recruitment.
6.Big emphasis on attracting a new audience via trying to attract more children to our games
7. No revenue is earned at home by the club for either the food or the drink supplied on matchdays.Board have spoken to the suppliers to see if they can get a better agreement. Very disappointed they put their prices up for food and drink on big game days.
8. Fax TV to be sponsored by Mark Moore's business to enable it to be free to all.
9. Looking to negotiate with Ian Craod who has stood down from the Board. The shop is being looked at to bring that back into the clubs hands to run and stock etc.
10.Further discussions ongoing to add new Board members.

Think these were the major points.

Saw this on facebook (apologies if the person who wrote this is a member of this forum)

I attended the Forum Fax meeting this evening (along with approx 50 other fans) at the Ivy House pub in Halifax with regard to Halifax Rugby League Football Club.
It was an interesting and useful meeting with the key points/messages as listed below.
Halifax have plans in place to attract former fans and kids to watch them to increase attendances.
Halifax need to improve and establish better links and relationships with kids as they are the future of the ckub.
Halifax hopefully will have a reserve side in place for the 2018
season. This is backed and encouraged by ex Leeds player and legend Kevin Sinfield who now works for the Rugby Football League.
Another £5,000 cheque was handed over tonight by the supporters trust for funding of the reserve side.
Next years early bird Season tickets will be cheaper for all concerned and kids will have free entry to games. The pricing of the Season tickets was openly discussed with the fans in attendance tonight and so fans had a massive say and input regarding the actual price of the tickets.
As of 1st September Fax TV will be free to all. This has been made possible as a Director of the Club who owns Bedz R Us
is picking up the costs of running the TV channel.
Richard Marshall (Coach) is aiming to keep the side together for next season that finished 3rd this year in the regular competition before the qualifiers playoffs. There may be a couple of signings as there may be a couple of departures too. He isn't looking at bringing in any new halfbacks to the club.
The club is looking into the possibility of Corporate Season tickets. It was also mentioned that it's important for our fans to support, appreciate, use and acknowledge our sponsors and their products/services.
Halifax doesn't own the bar, shop, food facilities. These are totally independant and the club doesn't get a penny from the sale of alcohol or burgers, etc. The prices and price increases of any drinks/food is NOT under the clubs control and/or influence!
The club is having talks with Calderdale Council to establish a better matchday experience for kids. Eg letting them on the pitch at half time and before/after games. The Council has strict control over the ground and associated rules.
One fan tonight suggested discounted Season tickets for fans of both Halifax rugby and football as it was expensive to follow both sports. A rugby Director said he had arranged three meetings with the Halifax football Board of Directors of which two were cancelled and the third no one turned up to meet him. He also has tried ringing the football club to arrange meetings, but the calls haven't been returned.
I think the above covers the main points. The meeting was over 2 hours long and if you think this is a long post you should see my online dating profile!!
Up the Fax and Up the Shaymen too.
