I think our club should go to Town on him. It seems maybe he has got wind of something that went on in the off season but is putting two and two together and wetting himself. He is treading on very thin ground and so is the administrator of that website. Only the other day an accusation was made without any basis, they think hiding behind a forum leaves them untouchable and they can sling whatever mud they like towards our club.

Ian, barring your good self, 99.9% of the posters on the Town forum have a brain capacity similar to an Irish goldfish so I wouldn't pay much heed to owt on there.

I should also add that whilst there are many threats of libel/slander made, it is rare they ever go to court so I doubt Flea is too worried.

Libel/slander is one of the hardest things to prove in a court of law. Only the High Court hear cases of such type and cost an absolute fortune (with no legal aid available). You also need to prove that you have suffered financial loss by the comments made about you.

Its boring the amount of Town fans that seem either to want the Rugby club to fail or think thats its ok to constantly sling mud in the clubs direction. You only have to look on the Town website when we lose and they usually have a thread dedicated to it. Imagine if we had done the same last season or this season, then again that won't happen because most Fax fans either want the football club to do well or really are not that bothered.
