Pedro. Higherfold Cockey Pond. 1973.

You can shout for silence, but boots worn all day will always hum.

Sadly the trolls from all clubs will always be around, the irony is while trying to take advantage of another clubs setbacks only invite contempt on themselves and their club when others retaliate in kind.

It's not easy but the best thing to do imho is press the ignore button and support your club. :thumb:

Faxcar, I have never done gloating thing before but I am sick and fed of the lies and downright slanderous remarks that have been made against my club on these sites and on Facebook. It was our chairman who said that. Maybe silly or misguided or could have had a drink but I bet all you clubs would jump at a bloke ploughing dosh into your club who actually loves it. Not like the fella both you and Fev have had the pleasure of having in charge.

But by the same implication... If Delbert keeps chelpin on social media with his outpourings of disdain and disrespect towards other clubs, that is lapped up by a considerable amount of Leigh's fans, do you not accept that such behaviour sets your club up for some ragging up after a first day defeat coming after his proclamations of world domination and triumph throughout the season???
Is Delbert better than Feisal? Yes.
But not by much.... He does come across to fans across the rest of RL to be quite a botty!

Ey up owd cocker.... how you doing.
I assume you'll be over to the top house later this season?
Genuine question.... should you wish to use the PM facility to reply, please do....
But what are your genuine thoughts of Delbert??
He's got cash. He's spending a good deal of it on Leigh. Fair play wi that one.
But charlie owd cock.... He does come across to the rest of us as a right cockle-doodle-do.

30 man squad ? The rules only allow 25 at a time.

At the moment we have 22.

The problem is Griff if you miss the start of a programme you miss the plot.
Go back on this topic and you will see I am responding to Hillsbro Lad who mentioned a 30 man squad. (I think that was a imaginary figure to emphasise his post)
Never suggested Seagulls had a 30 man squad.
Wakey, Wakey.

Maybe Mr Jagger and Norman Bates expecting a hard game, and you loy call Jagger a Buffoon at least he is a realist and knows Fax are not the force in Rugby some of you think they are, anyway I'm not going to gloat as I have a fair few Fax fans as friends, it's not the end of the world, the good news is Leigh are at the Shay in 4 weeks time.Good news for Leigh anyway.

53 days without one, Ian.
Your as bad as Griff, read my predictions for all our games, I say Fax by 20 every time in the hope I may get it right one day.
On this occasion I was only 100% wrong, it was Seagulls by 20.

John John, dos don't, wills won't, did you go last night? We need to get our heads around this trait of Fax being a good team,we will be found out by decent Coaches, no disrespect to Haven , but their tackling was non existent, which is why we won with such ease, we need to go full time I've been saying this for a long time now don't believe in the Fax hype,we need to reassess our tactics and play to our strengths, greatness has to earned not thrust upon minions,Long John Silver said that before killing Black Jack Spot.

I'm looking forward to all the trolls visiting the Leyth board tomorrow.

Why don't you tell him that personally? He mixes with the fans,so if you ever see him, you can tell him what you think about him to his face, Or anyone else can for that matter. Or is it easier to do it on here?

The essence of most sports is that enough time is allowed to enable apposing coaches to organise a game plan based on the published squads.
It seems to me very unfair if a team has 30 squad members and the opposition perhaps have a lot less.
Publishing squads (in my very humble opinion) is the fairest way to go about it.

What sports are you referring to? The 19man squads, which are notified to the RFL 48 hrs before a game, became the rule as a result of a betting story some years ago: - SQUAD DECLARATION SYSTEM B1:19 The principal purpose of the Squad Declaration System is to ensure that there is transparency and integrity in team selection and that there is no opportunity for those connected with a Club to profit from insider information. Clubs, officials and coaches shall comply with the Squad Declaration System as directed by the RFL from time to time in the Match Day Operations Manual.

There is no requirement to inform the public or the opposition.

In soccer, team sheets have to be handed to the referee 45 minutes prior to kick off.
