Paul Mennell is to retire from Rugby League following sundays game against huddes due to work and family reasons,its a shame but cant blame the lad he as got a lot on, thanks mate for your time and hard work u have put in for halifax rlfc, best of luck in the future mate

I know some people didn't rate him but I thought he was good. All the best for the future.

At least it's a position we have plenty of options in. With Keith Holden, Ryan Manelle and Ben Kaye who was great last time out against Hull KR.

Hope he continues to show the same kind of form. Amazing how a change in coach can change a player.

Good solid player and tough as teak. I would have loved to see him in a Fax shirt a few years back as he has always been a quality player at this level. As with so many players we probably didnt get to see the best of him under our previous coach.

I liked him and rated him.
And that's good enough for me.

Will be interesting to see if we take on another player, two down with Dixon.

gutted. thought he was unplayable on his day. comically used by Karl. MOTM one week, dropped the next: clueless management. Good luck Paul
