A shame he has gone, but at least he went out with 200 Halifax appearances under his belt!

Good luck for the future Gibbo and thank you!

did he pick the NL1 club with the smallest pitch by accident or by design.

I can see plenty of 2 yard specials going into the corner at don valley.

I'd like to know, we offered him a contract for this season which he rejected.

Exactly, he's left on good terms and to be fair, with the personel we have on board this year, even with injuries I couldn't see a place for him.

I hope he does play on Sunday and no doubt he will get a good reception from the Fax fans, a cheerful boo ;)

I seem to remember when he was playing for Salford he got a better reception than half of our players

I wish him all the best. A great servant to the club and one of the nicest blokes you'll ever meet.

Er why??

Good luck to Gibbo but the guy is past his peak and while he never let us down we need to move up another gear and you cannot be sentimental, we have 2 good full backs plus 2 good wingers then 2 that are pretty decent.
Come on he scored his tries in mostly the easier games last year.
I wish him well but not against us!
