Its a message to quite a few that if you want a place you better show us you are capable and actually want it. They all know the options that are likely to be available . RM has to get the message home now not half way through the season.

RM mentioned a week or so ago that there were a number of the first teamers from last year still carrying knocks from the middle eight play offs who he hadn't been able to select for these warm up games.

It's RM's last chance to see what options he has in a non- important game. If you look through the fixture list there are no 'easy' games where he can experiment. The Cas lads have been full time training so they will be fit enough. Good luck to the trialists and juniors -it's their last chance to shine. The real business starts on the 4th, Hopefully we will have a few more to select from and RM will have finalised his selection dilemas. We desperately need to get off to agood start as it will be very hard to make up any lost ground this eason at the back end.UTF.

great performance this aft. Reserve forwards really gave it to fev's first teamers. between Sion Jones and Elliot Morris for MOTM for me but overall a good game to watch. glad I went

Sion Jones looks to me like he could make the grade. Young but definitely one to keep hold of.
