You won't do pal, he declined their interest. He's home from La Reole too, doesn't look like he's returning back there. He's going further abroad to work a summer season of a very differing type of employment, 'cos he's young & can do. I think my RL negativity has rubbed off on both sons 1 & 2 as neither are currently playing the dying sport & how could ANYONE blame them ? Son No.2 went to watch a local amateur game yesterday BTW & was offered a place in the team without even signing on, very naughty business if you ask me. Do you know, just out of interest, when he was released at Halifax RLFC, he was offered exactly double the match fee that he would got playing for the blue & whites winning money, almost three times what he would have got for losing. RU, the place to be, considering Halifax needed their lads in four nights a week whether contracted or not. That's how to treat young lads, i think not. The RU match fee was simply for turning out, win, lose or draw.
